I am the sole owner/operator of Hidden Pond Bed & Breakfast, an award-winning bed and breakfast in LaPorte , Indiana . In a 2004 edition of Lake Magazine, Hidden Pond was named as one of the top 3 bed and breakfasts in Northwest Indiana .
 I purchased the property 8 years ago and turned it into the beautiful country home it is today. Since we opened as a B & B in 1998, our revenues and occupancy rate have grown consistently. Some of our guests have come back as many as 14 times.
A lot of personal love and time go into starting and maintaining a bed and breakfast. It becomes the owner's special child and must be cared for by someone who understands that. I am that person. I know what it is to start a special business like a B & B, and my promise is to give your guests the kind of gracious service that they deserve.
Whether you need someone for just a weekend or an extended period, I am committed to keeping your B & B running as smoothly as if you were there.
Prior to starting Hidden Pond, I was a personal insurance executive in the Chicago Metropolitan area for more than 20 years. I developed a large clientele and managed our customer service team. My experience in helping people protect their most treasured personal assets gives me valuable perspective both on how to treat these people as B & B guests and how to protect your most treasured business assets – your reputation.
My Red Cross CPR certificate is current. I'm a great cook, and I keep up my skills and creativity by attending cooking classes. I have also taken a health department food service course. I can handle your computer generated reservation requests and process credit card transactions. I can also handle correspondence and reservation confirmations.
 I am a member of The Greater LaPorte and Michigan City Chambers of Commerce and have actively worked on the marketing and billboard committees for the LaPorte County Tourism Bureau. I am a past member of the Indiana Bed & Breakfast Association and worked as the program chairman of the Rotary Club in Illinois .
